I went to a local girl and she told me I was just a summer but not the specific season, which I thought was odd. She said the gold and warm tones made my freckles “pop” but the silver neutralizes them-

which I thought was odd because I thought when they are popping that meant I was glowing and that was good lol. Then I used chat GPT to see which category I was in…even though I know it can (clearly) get it wrong lol! Before, I always assumed I was warm. I bought an app to analysis my colors that said I was an autumn. I would get "golden highlights" put in my hair. I thought gold jewlery, orange, camel brown and army green were my best colors. I always searched out earthy tones. I also thought I could be deep because of my dark hair. Or thought I could be bright because of the contrast between dark hair and light skin. Chat GPT said i was a soft summer, so I was all confused. 
 
But now I see color in such a different light! First of all I am now extremely biased in thinking cool summer is the prettiest pallet! I love the feminity and bright, fresh fun, happiness of the blues, pinks and purples (along with the other colors). Using makeup in my season has changed everything! I always went for corals and warm nudes for blush and lipstick and warm brown eyeshadow. I also only used warm foundations for the last 15 years, so now I try cool tones. Now that I go for pinks I am again so drawn to the brightness it adds to my face and eyes. All of the cool summer colors make my eyes brighter, teeth whiter and brings out the natural pinks of my cheeks and lips when im not wearing makeup, it makes me look healthier.

So interesting! During my in-person analysis, I was told I was a summer, but my wow colors did not look right. They were too bright!! Bright pink, red and fushia were a few that didn’t work for me. Previous to my color Analysis with Perfectly Season, I paid another analyst $300 for my colors, and sadly, I was not happy with the results. I really struggled to come to terms with my result because I thought those colours were more bland and less exciting and I wanted to be a more “fun” palette. 
 
I was mistaking softness for lightness, so I was worried I couldn’t wear any deeper shades. However after some experimentation I realised - I already like and wear a lot of soft medium to deeper shades, but I didn’t know they were SS. I’m no longer confused about hair color — I’m staying blonde for the time being, but making sure it’s a soft, cool blonde and using violet shampoo to keep it that way. 
 
I also appreciate that you think a little yellow gold jewelry is okay. I’m finding as long as I mix it with white metals and make sure the rest of the colors I’m wearing are in palette, the gold pieces I love still work. 
 
Lastly, this was a bargain! Thank you! I will save exponentially more money than I spent on your color analysis, and I’ll feel better about myself every day. Everybody should do this.

I could not believe my eyes when I read my color analysis, but the more I read the more it made sense! For 13 years I thought I was a Spring, and have bought bright items, and stayed away from anything soft. In the end I was still so surprised that I had an in-person analysis done, and I was confirmed as a Soft Autumn!
